Draft Annual Plan 2000-2001 Tamil Nadu

Abstract

The year 2000-2001 is the fourth year of the Ninth Five 'tear Plan. the State Govt, has already undertaken the mid-term appraisal of the Ninth Plan and sent its report to Union Planning Commission. the Annual Plan for 2000-2001. with the continued focus on the main objectives of the Ninth Plan viz.. Growth with social justice and equity. has been formulated in accordance with the approach outlined on priority areas communicated by the Union Planning Commission in November 1999. the State's IX Plan envisages an outlay of Rs.25, 000 crores.
