Abstract

Before the strategy and projections of Agriculture production for the annual plan, 1999-2000, which is the 3rd year of the 9th Five Year Plan(1997-98 to 2001-2002) are built up, it will be worth while to make a critical review of the achievements made during the 1st and 2nd years of the 9th Five Year Plan and Terminal year of the 8th Five Year Plan period i.e. (1996-97).
