Report on the Annual Survey of Industries 1979—80 and 1980—81 Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

Statistics on Industries is mainly collected through the Annual Survey on Indus tries. This survey is conducted under the Statutory Provisions of the Collection of Statistics Act 1953 and the Collection of Statistics Rules 1959 in all the states and union territories except in Jammu & Kashmir where it is conducted under the Jammu and Kashmir Collection of Statistical Rules 1964 framed therein. All the factories registered under the Factories Act come within the purview of the A.S.I.
