Abstract

The State Government have prepared its own Programme of Action (IOA) for implementation of the National Policy on Education. Though the POA is only a draft, nevertheless it gives direction for initiating a series of strategists to achieve the goal- of educational development within the limited resources available. Universalisation of Elementary Education will to receive the priority it deserves and the main thrust areas are provision of schooling facilities to unsolved area;, improving the academic standards and retaining the enrolled children in schools. the 10+2+3 national pattern of education has implemented in the state.
