Abstract
The coverage of the study was confined to 16 States namely, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra. Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. It was also decided that the study should be able to throw some light in regard to the functioning of IRDP in different types of situations areas.
