Abstract

During the Five Year Plan 1978-83, steps will be taken to improve the data-base of the economy. Various recommendations already made for improving the data-base for planning and policy making will be taken up for implementation........ As part of these information systems, date-banks will need to be developed by the Central Ministries, State Governments and major organisations.
