Abstract

The Annual Plan 2002-2003 is formulated with an approved outlay of Rs. 293.00 lakhs which includes Payment of Land Compensation towards extension of Dimapur Air Port of Rs. 217.00 lakhs and Rs. 26.00 lakhs for State matching Share towards Centrally Sponsored Schemes for Base Map Survey of Nagaland the remaining of Rs. 50.00 lakhs is been earmarked for various activities of the Department. The detailed financial projection as above for various schemes are yet to received Saction from the Government. Through the financial allocation is very much meager yet with the manpower available in the Department the targeted programmes in respect of Survey works are in progress.
