Estimates of National Product (Revised Series) 1960-61 to 1968-69

Abstract

The estimates of national product have been prepared following generally the methodology described in the Brochure on Revised Series of National Product 1960-61 to 1964-65 but certain revisions have become necessary in the light of fresh data that have now become available. Also certain departures have become inevitable in the preparation of the estimates for the earlier years 1954-55 through 1959-60, because of the nature and type of data available for these years. The following paragraphs indicate briefly the changes in procedure and source material used in the preparation of estimates by industry of origin and related aggregates.
