Abstract

Planning is defined in many ways. From a purely operational point of view, planning can be understood to be concerned with the best way of producing results. Naturally there is an effort to obtain knowledge of the area of concern of planning. Substantial literature is available on the various methodologies and tools of analysis of socio-economic factors related to planning.
