Abstract

Andhra Pradesh is the fifth largest and the fourth most populous State of the Indian Union., It has a long coastline extending over 1000 kms. along the Bay of Bengal. There is one major Port at Visakhapatnam, and two intermediate ports at Kakinada and Machilipatnam and six minor ports. This State serves as the link between the north and the south.`
