Abstract

Originally the Gomti Project was sanctioned for Rs. 309.61 lacs by the Government of India, during April, 1966. The actual construction of the project was started during 1968. Due to the increase in cost of construction materials, labour charge, change in design etc. The project estimate has been revised during 1969 and this revised estimated cost has gone upto 600.21 Lacs. The revised estimate has been submitted to CW & PC.
