Third Five Year Plan Annual Plan for 1964-65 Part-II Mid-Term Appraisal of the Plan Government of Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

The ceiling for the Third Five-Year Plan of Andhra Pradesh was originally fixed at Rs. 290.00 crores, comprising Rs. 200.00 crores of Central assistance, and Rs. 90.00 crores of State resources. On further representation by the State Government, the ceiling was raised to Rs. 305.00 crores subject to the specific condition that the State should raise in all additional taxation to the tune of Rs. 53.00 crores as against the original target of Rs. 38.00 crores for a plan of Rs. 290.00 crores. The detailed plan for an outlay of Rs. 305.00 crores was prepared and published in December, 1960.
