Abstract

Mizoram is a hilly tei'rain with hill ranges running north to south and with narrcu valleys in lertman. The average elevation is 91 4..1 (3000 ft) rising upto a bit more than 2,000m and the average rainfall is 20Jcm(80 inches). The rainfall is very heavy during the period of June to August and moderate in the months of May and September. In April a few priir.onsoon showers occur and in October also a few showers are available.
