Working Arrangements for Annual Plan 1985-86 Scheme-Wise Proposals Government of Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

It may be recalled that the Government of Andhra Pradesh had proposed a Plan of Rs. 1,170.00 crores for 1985-'86 and Rs 7,500.00 crores for the Seventh Five Year Plan. There was a meeting of the Working Groups, followed by a meeting between the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission. It was not possible to agree on an outlay either for 1985-'86 or for the Seventh Five Year Plan. However, "Working Arrangements" were entered into between Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Planning Commission in order to avoid hiatus in the Plan process.
