dc.description.abstractThe commencement of the Eighth Five Year Plan in Sikkim, will coincide with the completion of fifteen years of Sikkim becoming an honoured member of the family of States of the Indian Union. This would also mark the completion of three-five year development Plans in the State. During this period the- State has witnessed, a multi-dimensional transformation, covering all aspects of social and economic development.
