Andaman and Nicobar Islands Annual Plan Programme 1979-80 Part. II

Abstract

Accordingly a scheme for procurement of 4 Nos. W. Little Andaman type vessels had been formulated and approved by the planning Commission for implementation during the Fifth Five Year Plan period. DGS&D had accepted the tender of M/s. Cleback Boat Co. Calcutta for construction of these vessels. Only upto 4th stage of 1st 2nd vessels and 1 & 2nd stages of the 3rd and 4th vessels are expected to be completed during the current year. First two stages of the second two vessels are expected to be completed by March, 1978. Therefore, the spill over of this item is to be taken in hand for implementation during the New Plan period.
