Memorandum on Consolidation of Holdings (Suggestions and Recommendations)

Abstract

IT is well-known that fragmentation of holding is one of the serious obstacles to agricultural development. Both the First and the Second Plans have drawn attention to the need for consolidation of holdings. the programme assumes a certain urgency and dynamic character in view of the emphasis placed in the Second Plan on a rapid increase in agricultural production.
