Draft Annual Plan 2003-2004 (Executive Summary) Government Of Nagaland

Abstract

The Annual Plan 2003 - 04 of Nagaland is the first year after a new Government has assumed office under the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) following the recent elections in the State. The DAN had drawn up a Common Minimum Programme (CMP) based on which the alliance had sought the mandate of the people has to be implemented with all earnestness in order to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Nagaland. Along with political and administrative agendas, there are development issues which need to be pursued immediately. The programmes, which cover a wide range of areas such as Welfare, Health care, Human Resource Development, Self Employment, Industrial Development, Power Development and enhancement of the economy of the people of the State through various measures will require substantial investments of funds.
