Abstract

The era of planned economic development was introduced in the Union Territory of Goa, Daman and Diu only in 1963-64 by which time all the States and union Territories of the country had completed the first two Five Year Plans and were half way through the third plan. As in the rest of the country, in Goa, Daman and Diu too the Third Plan was followed by three Annual Plans.
