dc.description.abstractThe evaluation of the Family planning programme was done in two phases. In the first phase, a general purpose enquiry was taken up during September-December, 1968 covering the availability of services, scope and nature of mass education and communication programme, staff position at different levels, the achievements, the assessment of knowledge, attitude and reaction of local leaders and general respondents, functioning of Regional Training Centres etc.
