dc.description.abstractIn the First Five Year Plan of Education emphasis was laid on the expansion of Primary Education, Conversion of primary schools into Basic, expansion of Girls Education etc. For want of funds no provision could be made for the expansion of Secondary Education under the direct auspicious of the State.
