Abstract
The agreed Central assistance for the State’s Fourth Plan is Rs.160 crores. When the State's resources of Rs.80.16 crores is added, the total comes to Rs.240.16 crores. The Government of India sanctioned a special assistance of Rs.3.35 crores during 1969-70 for Balimela project and minor irrigation programme. This assistance should not be set off against the plan assistance. When this amount of Rs.3.35 crores is added, the size of the State’s Fourth Plan may be increased to about Rs.243.51 crores for the time being although it is likely to be increased further
