Abstract

The two pronged strategy consists of (i) implementation of SRI under appropriate soil and water condition, and (ii) Integrated Crop Management (ICM) method in rest of the rice area under diverse conditions and different seasons. The entire gross cropped area of 2.35 lakh hectares under rice crop can thus register at 30-45% increased productivity through SRI/ICM practices.
