Abstract

The trade union can play a positive and important role in the execution of development schemes under the Five Year Plant or this purpose it is necessary that trade unions should have trained workers At present most of the trade union leaders and workers/ are untrained. It will be very useful to give them training in regard to better internal organisation for conducting the affairs of the union on sound lines and building healthy trade union traditions, instruction in maintaining their accounts and in preparing annual returns under the Trade Union Act It is, therefore, proposed to sot up a training institution for the training of trade union workers on non-political lines to train enthusiastic and strong hand of workmen who can devote their energy to the labour movement.
