Abstract

Some of the existing jetties in Port Blair, Middle Andaman & North Andaman are-in dilapidated condition and require reconstruction so as to cater to the increased need of ferry services. Moreover in some places new jetties are to be constructed to introduce the ferry service and thereby extend the communication facilities by sea route to the needy rural areas.
