Abstract

The outlay proposed for the Annual Plan 2005-06 is Rs. 1199.09 crore at current prices as against the Tenth Five Year Plan agreed outlay of Rs.3200.00 crore at 2001-02 prices. The sectoral distribution of proposed outlay Tenth Five Year Plan 2002-07 and Annual Plan 2005-06 is given in table 1 and their percentage share is given in table 2. It is evident from the table 1 and 2 that ‘Social Services’ continues to be the priority sector in the Plan with an allocation of 42% , which is followed by Irrigation (15%), Energy (13%) and Transport (8%).
