Abstract

The main objectives of Planning & Coordination Department during the Tenth Plan- 2002-07 are: Computerization/lnformation Technology : Local Area Networking (LAN) for State Planning Machinery Office and Wide Area Networking (WAN) covering all the Districts Planning Machineries and all major Departments in die State. Development of Infrastructure: Construction of 6 (six) Districts Office buildings and residential buildings in the State Headquarter and in 6 (Six) Districts and establishment of District Machineries in the 3 (three) new District. Strengthening of Information, Evaluation and Monitoring Systems: through trainings, induction of specialist personnels and modernization of State Planning Machinery and the existing,8 Districts Planning Machineries.
