| dc.description.abstract | The State of Nagaland was constituted only in December 1963. Comprising of the former Naga Hills District of Assam and the Naga Tribal (Tuensang) Area of the. North East Frontier Agency, the State is divided into three districts of Kohima, Mokokchung and Tuensang. It extends between 25° 6' and 27° 4' North latitudes and 93° 20' and 95° 15' East longitudes and is bounded by Burma in the East, Assam in the West, NEFA in the North and Manipur in the South (Figure 1). | |
