Abstract

The Third Five Year Plan of the State was framed with an outlay of Rs.23600 crore which was more than double the amount of Rs 10527 crore allotted for the Second Plan Out of this outlay Rs 3400 crore or 144 percent were provided for the first year i.e. 1961-62 which closed with an expenditure of Rs 33 81 crore or 99 5 percent of the provision For the current year a sum of Re 38.34 crore or 16 25 percent of the Third Plan, outlay was earmarked.
