Fourth Five Year Plan Report of the Working Group on Mining and Drilling Equipment

Abstract

At the time of submitting the interim report, the Working Group on Mining and Drilling Equipment did not have available with it reliable estimates of production targets of coal as those were under examination. Estimates of production target for the Third and of the Fourth Plan have now been made available by the Coal Controller along with the break-up of production between N.C.D.C., Singreni and private sector colleries. A break-up according to the method of mining and secondly within the underground mining by development and depillering have also been given.
