Annual Plan 1973-74 Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli

Abstract

The next year will be the fifth and final year of the Fourth Five Year Plan in this territory. As already said previously, the Fourth Five Year Plan for the country is the First Five Year Plan for this territory. The Union Territory which was liberated from Portuguese rule in the year 1954 remained as a free Administration upto 1961. In 1961 it became part of the Union of India. Since then the Administration in the territory has been working on the lines of the Administrations in the country on the same pattern of development.
